Day One: Moving Snow

As always, the first day consists of moving large hunks of snow off the block. We worked hard, dropping some huge chunks to the ground. Weather is perfect: nicely cold. Only three of us worked today, as John Bruning had to miss the start. He returns Thursday. But the atmosphere at the event (13 teams from Russia, Mexico, Canada, England, Switzerland, Germany, and the U.S.) is very good, and we all hope for continued cold weather.
