Day -1: The Team is Assembled
The practice work was a success in that the central structure was adequately supported when we cut out its bottom, and it hung in there. Not for long though! It crashed shortly thereafter, when it was touched. We will have to be VERY careful in the real thing as we approach the end. This is surely the most delicate of our sculptures, but we are guardedly optimistic.
