The Navajo Sandstone Universe

This shot of Phil near the end of the trip, my favorite image from the week, shows the remarkable expanse of Navajo sandstone near King Mesa. The prominent saddle in the center is King Mesa Pass, which is how we came from the Escalante River and the Scorpion Horse Trail.
