Soft Lemon Wallflower (Erysimum capitatum)

The most common wallflowers are yellow. I have found magenta, white, and pink ones. These are a soft yellow that seems definitely different than the usual saturated yellow. They were on the slopes N of Independence Pass, July 14, 2014. I call these “soft lemon”, a term I found here:
