Wood nymph (Moneses uniflora)
Found these in the woods above the main Piney River trail, Aug 2, 2009.
Below were on road in Brown Gulch in Breckenridge (July 21, 2022).
It appears they turn upwards as they mature. Here are some above Corral Creek August 3, 2024. The description of the features: “10 stout, hooked stamens with enlarged tips (anthers) surround the ovary.”
