Cutleaf Anemone (Anemone multifida)

June 28, 2023, on the Chickaree hiking trail at Copper Mountain. Perfect light.

We saw these on the Angler Mountain Trail, June 28, 2014. They were new to me. Lovely color. I am told they also occur in the wild in a white version.

The next two are from the Gore Trail towards Red Buffalo Pass, a couple hundred feet above the waterfall, right beside the trail. There were several, and it was nice to see them so high.
