Grays Peak sky pilot

The common sky pilot is quite purple and very common in the alpine terrain. A related species is called Grays Peak Sky Pilot (Polemonium confertum) and is lighter in color with flowers in spherical clusters. This one was found on the west side of Argentine Pass, July 27, 2008.
