Clustered Lady Slippers (Cypripedium fasciculatum)

These are quite rare in Summit County. They show up near the main trail (Gore Trail) just above South Willow Falls.

And in late June, 2014, I found a nice bunch not too far from our house, near fields of regular fairy slippers: Location: On the trail connecting 31B to the Ditch (now called the Ormes Trail). Exactly 1/10 of a mile N of the junction of this trail with 31B. On right when hiking towards ditch. About 3 feet from trail. The first picture below is probably the best: taken on a rainy day, June 19, 2020. The toothed leaves are pipsissewa leaves.
