Bristlecone Pines

There are several large stands of bristlecone pines in the Colorado high country. The photos below were taken on the slopes of Bard Peak.

And here are some from the Limber Grove near Fairplay.

And the shots below are from the best stand in the state, as far as I know: the south face of Buffalo Peaks, NE of Buena Vista
