Yellow Rock and Paria View
These red spots (at the top of the climb near the start of the trail to Yellow Rock) are clearly embedded spheres, so are similar to Moki marbles, but they have no pure iron shell.
A view of Paria town and road from our lookout point at our turnaround. That is Gingham Skirt Butte at left and the Paria River in foreground.
Yellow Rock. The color comes from limonite.
