Wahweap Hoodoos
The Dakota sandstone forming the caprock of all the hoodoos in this general area. It looks like a bunch of pebbles cemented together. Higher up in the formation, Dakota sandstone is more homogeneous.

At the start of the day there was this unusual Swiss-plated expedition vehicle at the trailhead. The funny thing is I saw this same vehicle at the House Rock Road intersection two years ago.
