De-Na-Zin

I spotted this arch when hiking near here with  Bill and Elaine Belvin a year ago. We were closer to it than we thought, and it was quite  easy to  reach it, above a tributary to De-Na-Zin Wash.

This is the  Double Hoodoo, as it has two  types of caprock.

This is a very slender hoodoo when  viewed from the wash, but one cannot get that view from near it.

I call this the Maverick Hoodoo, as it has strayed from the herd on the left.
