Brimstone Canyon (April 2000)

Brimstone Canyon is a very long and exceedingly narrow canyon. Indeed, in parts it is narrower than a human head, and so getting through it is very difficult. We didn't quite get all the way through, but I now think that one can do so by stemming the walls up high. Katie, Byron, and I spent about four hours in the depths of this one.

Brimstone has been fully traversed. A great report on one such trip is at <<http://www.math.utah.edu/~sfolias/canyontales/ram/?i=beast>>
