West Summit

Susie and Stan at our high point, just below the 19440-foot West Summit. We had left our packs a little below, and felt a rope would be needed for the last stretch, so we stopped here. The weather this day was not too bad, though we waited for three nights at our high camp at 17500 for this chance. At that camp we were the highest sleepers in North America.
