Peak H, Straight Arrow Couloir
The Straight Arrow on Peak H in the Gore Range is a good-looking chute. One would access this from Upper Piney Lake, camping near the lake. The climb up Peak H from the lake is quite easy, perhaps the easiest of the alphabet peaks in this region. After skiing the chute, the return over the saddle looks to be easy. This photo was taken from near Peak K in late June, 2001. In July 2002 I climbed to the summit and looked down the chute and I have to say it does not look very steep.
