Treasure Vault, West Face
On May 23, 2015, Chet Roe and I started at Climax Corner and went around the west side of Arkansas, then descended about 600 feet, and then climbed the W face of Treasure Vault to an obvious stopping point at 13270 ft. We booted the last 800 ft. It was quite wintry with powder here and there. Visibility was in and out, but it was a spectactular tour through the valleys and a straightforward climb to our high point.
The image below shows the west face in profile. We descended to the trees and the climbed the face to the spot below the high bump where it flattens out a little.
