People's Choice and Artist's Choice Awards
Canada made a clean sweep of the awards. Their piece, "His Mistress", received People's, Artists', and Kids' Choice in addition to taking the judges' first place prize. Russia and Minnesota were both quite close in the People's Choice award and were given runnerup recognition. A judge stated that Minnesota "did things with snow that have never been done before."
