Team Bio

The Minnesota team has a deep connection to the midwest, but each member's roots are scattered around North America.

The team is made up of FIVE members: four sculptors and a team representative.

Stan Wagon, a mathematician and professor at Macalester College, St. Paul, Minnesota.

Bathsheba Grossman, a sculptor and pioneer in fine art technology, from Santa Cruz, California

Dan Schwalbe, a software engineer, is from Hamel, Minnesota. He was formerly on the faculty at Macalester College.

John Bruning, is the president and CEO of a high-tech optics company in Rochester, New York.

Rob Nachtwey, is the team representative (photographer, videographer, and webmaster) and a ski instructor at Snowbird Resort in Utah. He is originally from Berkeley, California, and graduated from Macalester College in 2000.
